System Administrator(Linux & Mac hardware)
Greetings !! Administer and maintain Linux servers and Mac Minis used for on-premise model inference and video processing. Monitor hardware health (CPU, memory, disk usage), remote uptime, and proactively resolve system bottlenecks. Troubleshoot OS-level issues, automate hardware resets, and handle remote support tools (Anydesk, TeamViewer, etc.). Implement secure access (VPN, SSH), manage user credentials, and control remote device access. Write shell/Python scripts to automate logging, deployments, and scheduled jobs (e.g., video generation, model reloads). Collaborate with dev and ML teams to optimize system resource usage (RAM disks, multithreading, lightweight builds). Maintain documentation for store hardware setups, IP mapping, model deployment flows, and recovery steps. Coordinate with onboarding teams for hardware activations and system diagnostics. Should be an expert in hardware - Requirements 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (Ubuntu preferred). Strong hands-on experience with Mac OS devices in production or remote setups. Comfortable handling remote troubleshooting and OS-level debugging (cron, syslog, journalctl, etc.). Working knowledge of networking basics IP mapping, static/dynamic IPs, SSH keys, and firewall rules. Experience with automation tools or custom scripting (bash, Python).
