Position Summary: The Operations Coordinator (Factory Production), reporting to the General Manager, India, is a key role responsible for coordinating with each of Mercana’s manufacturing partners in India to ensure that the factories meet the production and shipment timelines required by Mercana. This role includes making regular direct contact with the factories and communicating any expected changes in production to Mercana stakeholders within the QC, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams. Responsibilities: Order Follow-up and Factory Coordination: Coordinate with factories to ensure that factories are on track to meet their production timelines for Mercana orders. Monitor order progress and ensure that all dates within the Mercana system are keep up to date and current with the Work closely with the General Manager to ensure all orders are processed efficiently. QC Scheduling: Schedule quality control inspections in the Qarma application. Ensure that inspection results and dates are updated accurately in the NAV Collaborate with the QC team to streamline the inspection process and maintain data integrity. Other Projects: Assist the General Manager in various projects as required. Take on additional responsibilities that contribute to the success of Mercana Furniture and Decor. Contribute to the overall efficiency and growth of the operations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Order Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure orders are accurately processed and delivered on time. Quality Control Coordination: Maintain accurate QC schedules and results in Qarma and NAV systems. Container Efficiency: Optimize container planning to reduce shipping costs and maximize product delivery. Project Success: Successfully complete projects as directed by the General Manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination is a plus. Position Summary We seek an experienced Product Development & Packaging Coordinator to join our Jodhpur team. This dynamic role focuses primarily on case goods product development , with a complementary emphasis on packaging engineering for e-commerce distribution. The ideal candidate will coordinate product sampling, technical documentation, and vendor communication to ensure Mercana’s designs are developed efficiently, meet quality standards, and are packaged to North American expectations following ISTA 3A guidelines.
