MEP BIM Coordinator

Job Description

Role Summary: Responsible for the development, coordination, and management of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) BIM models, ensuring integration with architectural and structural disciplines, and supporting clash detection, compliance, and documentation throughout project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: · Create and manage coordinated MEP models in Revit and other BIM platforms. · Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for integrated model delivery. · Conduct clash detection in Navisworks; resolve conflicts with relevant disciplines. · Implement and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), LOD requirements, and company standards, including parametric families. · Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and constructability; oversee quality assurance. · Produce coordinated shop drawings, schedules, and quantity takeoffs. · Maintain records of model revisions and coordination issues. · Validate model geometry and embedded data prior to construction. · Liaise between design, engineering, and construction teams. · Report BIM coordination progress and issues to project and BIM managers. Technical Skills: · Proficient in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). · Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, and IFC workflows is a plus. · Knowledge of ISO 19650 and other international BIM standards. Qualifications: · Education: Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field. · Experience: 3–5 years in BIM coordination for MEP systems in construction or consultancy. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Tangra, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: MEP BIM Coordinator: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
