Full Time
· (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) and informed by clients’ unique identity, context and needs.
· Deliver individual, family, couple and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate, including working respectfully with clients from LGBTQ / queer backgrounds and supporting those facing minority stress, identity-related concerns, or intersectional trauma.
· Provide crisis intervention and risk management, liaising with other professionals when higher-level intervention is required.
· Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential client records and documentation, in compliance with organisational, legal and ethical standards.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, etc.), refer as needed, and contribute to holistic client-care.
· Participate in outreach, psycho-education or community-awareness initiatives around mental health, resilience, self-care, and inclusive practice (including LGBTQ / queer issues).
· Engage in ongoing professional development, supervision and peer review to ensure clinical competence, cultural competency, and adherence to professional ethics.
Qualifications & Registration
· Master’s degree (or higher) in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or equivalent.
· Valid professional registration/licensure in the relevant jurisdiction (registration number must be provided).
· Demonstrated post-qualification experience (e.g., 2-5 years or more) in a clinical mental-health setting providing therapy / counselling.
· Proven ability to work with diverse populations, including LGBTQ / queer clients, and a range of presenting issues (such as anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-concerns, relationship issues).
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
· Strong ethical, professional, culturally sensitive and inclusive awareness.
Skills & Attributes
· Empathy, active listening, and the ability to build therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds (including sexual and gender minorities).
· Sound clinical judgement, ability to assess risk, manage complexity and escalate when needed.
· Ability to work independently, as part of a team, whilst effectively managing a caseload.
· Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions.
· Commitment to confidentiality, professional boundaries, inclusive practice, continuous learning.
· Organisational skills, ability to manage documentation and to use electronic records.
· Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs, work schedules (including possibly evening hours) and service demands.
· Awareness of minority stress, social stigma, intersectionality, and the specific mental-health needs of LGBTQ / queer communities.
Working Conditions
· Full-time role (6-8 hours) in [office/clinic/hospital/community] environment.
· May involve evening sessions or flexible hours depending on client-needs.
· Occasional collaboration with external agencies / referrals.
· Regular supervision and case review meetings.

Remuneration & Benefits
· Salary: 25000-30000/month
