· Optimum use of the induction furnaces to save unnecessary wastage of power and heat.
· Keep separate crucible for separate metal forms to avoid contamination. Also to keep the crucible history up to date.
· Keep the melting loss at minimal to ensure full recovery of metal.
· Maintaining the quality of flakes and grains produced.
· Operate ball mill and incinerator to recover the material.
· Run bullion casting area furnaces to cast finished goods.
· Maintaining quality of finished goods according to specified norms
· To take good care of the all the furnaces, their attached convertor and other necessary accessories for betterment of the life of equipment.
· All the recovered slag to be milled in ball mill before final sampling.
· Maintaining records and documents as per IMS.
· Training and development of newly joined melters with respect to operation and handling of the equipment.
