Job Title: Store Assistant – Construction Site Location: Shilaj (Ahmedabad) Gujarat Educational Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass (minimum) Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar role at a construction site preferred. Department: Stores & Inventory Job Summary: The Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in day-to-day store operations at Mehul Geo Projects LLP’s Construction & Engineering Sites . This includes receiving, storing, issuing materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper documentation as per site procedures and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Issue materials to site staff based on approved indent slips. Maintain accurate records of receipts and issues in registers or software. Assist in Counting, stacking, and storing materials properly. Conduct periodic physical verification of stock. Keep the store area clean, organized, and safe. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material & Fuel consumption and Fuel stock reports. Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and site teams regarding stock levels. Monitor expiry dates and damage of perishable or fragile materials. Prevent misuse or theft of materials through proper monitoring. Required Skills: Knowledge of storekeeping and inventory management practices. Ability to maintain stock registers and records manually or digitally. Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools. Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
