Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Python, SQL, Data Warehouse concept, Data Modeling
• GCP services (Big Query, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Spanner, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Cloud Functions)
• Docker, Kubernetes, Github
• Microservices and Serverless Architecture
• Designing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Cloud security principles and identity & access management (IAM)
• Good Communication skills

Good-to-Have

• Pyspark, Bigdata tools, Networking Knowledge
• Google Professional Cloud Architect/DevOps Engineer Certification
• F&A Domain skill

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud solutions on GCP
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain network architectures on GCP including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and interconnects.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization of cloud environments
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and promote continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Stay current with new GCP services, tools, and industry trends; evaluate and recommend new technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud architecture and deployment issues.
• Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and data engineers.

Minimum Qualification:

15 years of full-time education.
