Job Summary The SharePoint Online Administrator & Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint Online environments within Microsoft 365. This role ensures optimal performance, governance, and usability of SharePoint sites and related digital workplace tools. The ideal candidate will support business collaboration, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities & Administration Manage and maintain SharePoint Online sites, site collections, permissions, and storage quotas. Implement governance, compliance, and security best practices across the SharePoint ecosystem. Monitor system performance, user activity, and site health using Microsoft 365 admin tools and PowerShell. Configure and support integrations with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Oversee backup, restoration, and version control processes. Provide user onboarding, permissions management, and troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues. Development Design and build custom SharePoint solutions using modern frameworks (SPFx, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Develop and deploy workflows and automation using Power Automate and PowerShell. Customize SharePoint Online pages, forms, and lists using Power Apps and JSON formatting. Create and maintain SPFx web parts, extensions, and site templates. Integrate SharePoint with external systems via REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and third-party connectors. Maintain SharePoint branding, templates, themes, and UI enhancements. Support & Collaboration Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SharePoint solutions. Provide technical support, training, and documentation to end users. Collaborate with IT security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure a secure and compliant environment. Qualifications & Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. Experience 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering and developing SharePoint Online in a Microsoft 365 environment. Demonstrated experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Microsoft Teams integration. Experience with SPFx, PnP PowerShell, and the Microsoft Graph API. Strong understanding of modern SharePoint architecture, site structures, and permissions models. Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and security groups. Skills & Competencies Technical Skills: SharePoint Online, SPFx, PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, REST/Graph API. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently. Security Awareness: Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and Microsoft 365 compliance.
