Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Engineer based in Thane, Maharashtra. The Purchasing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing processes, managing purchase orders, planning and sourcing materials, and evaluating suppliers. Other key duties include ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, analyzing purchasing data, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Collaboration with internal departments to align purchasing strategies with business needs is also a critical part of the role. Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Planning Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders and related documentation Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating suppliers, cost optimization, and market analysis Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communication and negotiation abilities Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the healthcare or manufacturing sector Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office tools
