Job Description

Role: Medical Writer

Shift: Rotation Shift

Location: Chennai

WFO

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing high-quality, scientifically accurate medical and regulatory documents, including clinical study reports, protocols, brochures, and more.
  • Creating clear, concise, and audience-appropriate medical content for healthcare professionals, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough research and literature reviews to ensure content accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, scientists, and regulatory teams to develop compelling and compliant medical writing materials.
  • Adhering to client and regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA) while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and scientific integrity in all documents.
  • Reviewing and revising content based on feedback from reviewers and editors.
  • Managing multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and quality standards.
  • Supporting quality control and peer-review processes to ensure excellence in medical documentation.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Strong understanding of medical and scientific terminology, clinical research processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in preparing clinical and regulatory documents, publications, and scientific communications.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize complex scientific data for different audiences.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines (e.g., ICH, GCP, AMA, FDA, EMA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reference management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including researchers, medical professionals, and regulatory experts.
