Listening to dictations and typing them into a document. Reviewing and editing transcriptions created by speech-to-text software. Proofreading for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology errors. Formatting documents according to industry standards. Following strict confidentiality guidelines. Understanding and applying medical terminology and abbreviations. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of medical records. Updating patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
