Medical Technician (CRC 1 Project)

You are invited to join our research team at SJRI as a Medical Technician. In this role, you will be involved in supporting a variety of research projects, particularly focusing on nutrition, public health, and health technology. Your responsibilities will include handling technical aspects of various studies, such as longitudinal, interventional, observational, cohort studies, and randomized controlled trials. As a Medical Technician at SJRI, you will be expected to manage the setup, installation, and configuration of advanced and sensitive equipment and devices. You will conduct systematic assessments using medical equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in the laboratory. Your role will also involve collecting and processing biological samples from participants/patients for laboratory analysis, as well as performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance. To be considered for this position, you should hold an M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology, or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in science. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a medical technician in a clinical or research setting is preferred. Proficiency in English, Kannada, Hindi, and South Indian Languages is desired. The position is set to start on 1st April 2025, and the salary offered ranges from Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 based on experience. The deadline for submitting applications is 15th March 2025.
