Medical Scribe – Coimbatore

Job Description

We are hiring a Medical Scribe to work with US-based physicians and healthcare providers. The role involves real-time and/or recorded clinical documentation, updating Electronic Health Records (EHR), and ensuring accurate medical records. This position is ideal for candidates with medical knowledge, strong English skills, and night-shift availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist US doctors by documenting patient encounters accurately
• Enter medical notes into EHR/EMR systems
• Record patient history, chief complaints, examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Review and edit medical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Communicate with physicians to clarify clinical information
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks within turnaround time

Eligibility & QualificationsRequired:

• Any medical or life science background preferred

(B.Pharm / D.Pharm / Nursing / Allied Health / Life Sciences)

• Excellent English communication (listening & writing)
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
• Willingness to work US night shift
• Good typing speed and computer skills

Preferred:

• Experience as Medical Scribe / Medical Transcriptionist / Clinical Documentation Executive
• Knowledge of EHR tools (Epic, Cerner, Athena, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Fresher candidates with medical background can apply (training provided)
