Medical Science Liaison Manager-Oncology

As a Medical Affairs Professional in the MNC pharmaceutical organization, your role will involve establishing a strong medical affairs presence with external stakeholders in the field of oncology. You will be responsible for conducting scientific exchanges and providing research support for licensed and non-licensed products, focusing on hard-to-treat cancers such as metastatic pancreatic cancer, digestive cancers, brain tumors, hematologic cancers, leukemia, pediatric cancers, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate fair-balanced therapeutic area related, product-related, and clinical information to external stakeholders including physicians, academic institutions, healthcare professionals, and medical information providers. - Manage communication channels, facilitate research discussions, and bring key insights from the medical and scientific community to internal stakeholders to shape marketing and product plans. - Support Company Sponsored Studies by providing country review of proposed research site lists, attending site visits if required, and offering site/investigator feedback to the line manager. - Serve as a field-based reference point of scientific and clinical expertise for the field force and other internal stakeholders. - Create or assist in the development of medical/scientific materials and slide decks. - Engage with external stakeholders by developing Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement plans, gathering insights, identifying clinical investigators, communicating scientific data, connecting internal and external stakeholders, providing conference support, assisting in external stakeholder research activities, and responding to medical information requests. Qualifications Required: - MBBS/MD (Pharmacology) with industry experience in oncology, preferably with exposure to Radio Oncology, Medical Oncology, Solid tumors, and Neurosurgery. - Field working experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry.
