Medical Coder/ Sr Medical Coder

As a Medical Coder at our company, your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day activities of coding the patients" charts and diagnosis reports. This includes coding or auditing charts based on requirements, updating/clearing the production/pending reports, working closely with the team leader, reviewing emails for any updates, identifying issues, and escalating them to the immediate supervisor. It is crucial to strictly adhere to the company's policies and procedures, demonstrate sound knowledge in Medical Coding concepts, and have 6 months to 3 years of coding experience. Key Responsibilities: - Coding or auditing charts based on requirements - Updating/clearing the production/pending reports - Working closely with the team leader - Reviewing emails for any updates - Identifying issues and escalating them to the immediate supervisor - Meeting the productivity targets of clients within the stipulated time (Daily & Monthly) - Applying the instructions/updates received from the client during production - Preparing and maintaining reports Qualifications Required: - Sound knowledge in Medical Coding concepts - 6 months to 3 years of coding experience - Understanding the client requirements and specifications of the project We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage coding tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
