Job Description

As a Certified Medical Coder (E/M Specialist) at BeeperMD in Chandigarh IT Park, you will play a crucial role in accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for patient care. Your responsibility will include reviewing and analyzing medical records to ensure appropriate coding for diagnoses and procedures, collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation, and staying updated with coding regulations and best practices. To excel in this role, you must hold a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential and demonstrate proven experience as an E/M coding specialist. A strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential, along with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using coding software and electronic medical records systems is also required.
