As a Medical Art Director at Red Nucleus, you will have the opportunity to join our global team in a remote role based in the US or Canada. In this role, you will work closely with clients to establish the visual style for 2D/3D animations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of animators to ensure successful project completion, collaborating with leaders in other departments for multidisciplinary tactics, and maintaining the overall artistic vision for animations. You must enjoy the creative problem-solving process required to bring original concepts and high-profile IPs to life through immersive experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Establish the artistic vision for 2D/3D animations - Conduct scientific research and collaborate with medical writers and storyboard artists - Execute complex 2D and 3D scenes - Drive continuous improvement for the animation department - Provide creative solutions for pitches and proposals - Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure project expectations are met - Coach and mentor a team of animators for their growth and success Requirements: - Science degree required; graduate of a Biomedical Communications discipline preferred - 10+ years of working experience in a fast-paced production environment - Proficiency in 3D animation software (Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Maxon Cinema 4D) - Advanced skills in Adobe software and 2D animation production - Experience in storyboard development and leading a small team Skills & Abilities: - Creativity - Strong organizational and communication skills - Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities - Attention to detail - Passion for science and animation - Commitment to team growth As part of INVIVO, A Red Nucleus Company, you will be contributing to the improvement of the quality of life by accelerating the understanding of science.
