Medical advisor - Hematology / Oncology

As a Medical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing the scientific foundation for the Therapeutic Area (TA) medical strategy. Your responsibilities will include overseeing various medical activities, engaging key thought leaders, and contributing to the development of the Medical Affairs strategic plan for the identified TA and products. You will serve as a core scientific member of the cross-functional franchise team, ensuring that the TA medical strategy is based on sound scientific principles. This will involve conceptualizing and managing a wide range of medical activities such as research, publications, medical education, and patient support programs in alignment with the TA Medical strategy. Engaging key thought leaders through medical affairs activities will be a key aspect of your role, contributing to the overall strategic plan. You will work closely with Regional Medical Affairs to execute the strategic medical affairs plan effectively, including activities related to medical education, product education, and special projects. In your capacity as a Medical Advisor, you will act as a therapeutic area scientific expert, engaging in discussions on scientific data with specialists and providing training on the latest medical developments to the sales and marketing team. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in driving the success of medical initiatives within the organization. To qualify for this role, you should hold an MBBS with M.D. Pharmacology/Medicine or a full-time post-graduate qualification in any discipline of medicine. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a research company in a Medical Advisor capacity.
