As the Lead Media & Strategic Communications at UBLR (UnboxingBLR Foundation), you will play a crucial role in designing and driving the communications, media, and public relations strategy of the organization. Your responsibilities will include building UBLR's public voice, positioning its founder and initiatives, and ensuring consistent storytelling across various media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing UBLR's communications & PR strategy to enhance visibility and reputation. Additionally, you will lead the branding and spokesperson positioning for the Founder and leadership team through media outreach, thought-leadership platforms, and interviews. Building and managing strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across print, broadcast, and digital media will be a key aspect of your role. Your role will involve drafting and editing press releases, op-eds, speeches, quotes, and campaign narratives for spokespersons. Identifying and leveraging awards, events, and public forums to showcase UBLR's work and leadership will be part of your responsibilities. You will also oversee PR agency workstreams to ensure alignment with UBLR's communications goals and organize various media engagements such as press events, editor roundtables, and media launches. In addition to providing communication insights to leadership and program teams, you will be responsible for ensuring messaging consistency across UBLR initiatives, including flagship programs like BLR Hubba. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 8 years of experience in Communications, PR, or Media Relations, with a strong track record in building organizational and leadership visibility.
