Job Title: Surveyor – Power Distribution Department: Engineering / Operations Location: Jharkhand Key Responsibilities: · Conduct field surveys for overhead and underground power distribution systems. · Collect spatial data using GPS, total stations, drones, and other surveying equipment. · Prepare detailed site plans, maps, and drawings using CAD and GIS software. · Collaborate with engineers and planners to ensure accurate design layouts. · Identify right-of-way (ROW) issues, potential conflicts, and terrain challenges. · Mark and document the location of existing utility infrastructure. · Assist in planning for new distribution line installations or upgrades. · Ensure all surveying activities comply with local utility standards, codes, and safety regulations. · Maintain detailed records and documentation of survey results. · Coordinate with construction teams to ensure alignment between design and field implementation.
