Job Title: Surveyor – Power Distribution Department: Engineering / Operations Location: Jharkhand Key Responsibilities: · Conduct field surveys for overhead and underground power distribution systems. · Collect spatial data using GPS, total stations, drones, and other surveying equipment. · Prepare detailed site plans, maps, and drawings using CAD and GIS software. · Collaborate with engineers and planners to ensure accurate design layouts. · Identify right-of-way (ROW) issues, potential conflicts, and terrain challenges. · Mark and document the location of existing utility infrastructure. · Assist in planning for new distribution line installations or upgrades. · Ensure all surveying activities comply with local utility standards, codes, and safety regulations. · Maintain detailed records and documentation of survey results. · Coordinate with construction teams to ensure alignment between design and field implementation. Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualifica on experience in IT, Telecommunica on Systems, or Op cal Fiber Networks. Key Responsibilities : Monitoring and supervision of design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for the Amended BharatNet project. Monitor the configuration, installation, and testing of network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, GPON/OLT/ONT devices). Conduct field-level quality checks of installed network elements to ensure compliance with project specifications. Assistance in troubleshooting network connectivity, configuration issues, and coordinate with field technicians and senior engineers for resolution. Monitor and report on network performance, including signal levels, latency, and data throughput. Ensure implementation of basic network security measures and adherence to standard protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of site visits, test results, and quality observations. Coordinate with Project Implementation Agencies (PIAs), OEMs, and State NOC as needed for network validation and performance review.
