Role Overview We are looking for a motivated, personable, and goal-oriented Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting prospective leads, guiding them about our medical courses, converting them into enrolled students, and helping them choose the right course based on their aspirations. Your focus will be on building trust, understanding potential students’ needs, and ensuring a smooth enrollment process. Key Responsibilities Reach out to leads generated through our website, digital marketing campaigns, referrals, or other channels. Initiate and conduct phone calls / video calls / chats with prospective students to understand their educational background, career goals, and motivations for enrolling. Present our course offerings, features, benefits, structure, and outcomes clearly and persuasively. Address queries about course curriculum, fees, payment plans, and support services. Help prospective students choose the most suitable course according to their needs. Follow up with leads to nurture interest and convert them into confirmed enrollments. Maintain accurate records of conversations, follow-up status, and student data in CRM or spreadsheets. Meet or exceed monthly enrollment / conversion targets set by the academy. Coordinate with the academic or support team to ensure smooth onboarding/enrolment for new students. Provide feedback to marketing/management about common queries, objections, and potential improvements in lead handling. Qualifications & Skills Required Strong communication skills — both verbal and written. Comfortable talking to people, understanding their needs, and explaining course information clearly. Good interpersonal skills, empathy, active listening, and ability to build trust quickly (not just “hard-sell”). Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Basic computer skills: comfortable using tools like spreadsheets, CRM, email, chat, calls. Willingness to work flexible hours, if needed (to accommodate leads in different time zones or varied schedules). Preferred / Advantageous Previous experience in sales, tele-sales, education counselling, or as a course consultant — especially for online courses or in healthcare / education sector. Familiarity with medical / healthcare education or general awareness of medical courses or training sector. Basic understanding of the concerns and motivations of aspiring students (e.g. career growth, certification value, flexibility). Empathy and ability to advise — not just sell — to ensure good fit between student and course.
