Role Overview As a Sales Engineer at Mechcon, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs. You’ll be responsible for promoting our advanced powder handling solutions—including pneumatic conveying, bagging, milling, mixing, drying, and automated powder plants—to clients across pharma, food, chemical, and allied industries. Key Responsibilities Understand client requirements and propose tailored technical solutions Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and proposals Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to align solutions with customer needs Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and basic layout planning Support tendering, pricing, and negotiation processes Maintain CRM records and follow up on leads and opportunities Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to represent Mechcon • Provide post-sales technical support and coordinate with service teams Qualifications & Skills Requirement Details Education : B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, MBA will be added advantage Experience: 0–5 years in technical sales (preferably powder handling or automation) Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for client interaction Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems Design Literacy: Ability to read P&IDs, datasheets, and layout drawings Mobility: Willingness to travel and engage with clients on-site Attitude: Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn complex systems Why Join Mechcon?
