Job Title: Project Engineer Mechanical Location: Faridabad, Haryana Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 years Industry: Warehouse Automation / Machine Building / Industrial Automation Department: Project Execution / Engineering Reporting to: Project Manager / Technical Head Job Summary: We are seeking a result-driven Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and coordinate the execution of automation and machine-building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of engineered systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute mechanical aspects of automation and machine-building projects from kick-off to final commissioning. Interpret and validate engineering drawings (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and coordinate with design and fabrication teams. Supervise fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes to ensure project specifications are met. Coordinate with electrical, controls, and procurement teams for integrated project execution. Visit client sites for layout validation, site measurement, installation supervision, and commissioning support. Maintain project documentation, including BOMs, technical specifications, installation plans, and progress reports. Communicate regularly with customers to understand requirements, provide updates, and resolve technical concerns. Ensure projects meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives. Identify project risks and implement preventive/corrective measures. Provide support for testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test). Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in project execution in machine manufacturing or automation systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical designs, GD&T, and assembly drawings. Hands-on experience with fabrication, machining, pneumatic systems, and motion assemblies. Familiarity with mechanical integration of servo motors, actuators, gearboxes, and sensors. Strong planning, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities. Working knowledge of project tracking tools (ClickUp, Excel, Zoho Projects, etc.) is a plus. Good communication skills and the ability to manage customer-facing interactions. Willingness to travel for site supervision and commissioning (as needed).
