As a Mechanical Design professional at HCLTech, you will be responsible for NPD (New Product Design), utilizing your expertise in CAD tools like Creo, GD&T, tolerance stackup, and Sheetmetal. Your role will involve concept creation, detail design, modeling, drawing, and handling large assemblies using simplified reps in Creo. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, PDM/PLM tools, and BOM will be crucial for your success in this role. Your solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills will be key to providing innovative design solutions and attending client meetings when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in NPD (New product design) - Concept Creation, Detail Design, Modeling & Drawing using CAD tool (Creo). - Experience in handling large assemblies using simplified reps in Creo. - Knowledge of Manufacturing process (Machined and Sheetmetal components). - Knowledge of GD&T. - Knowledge of PDM/ PLM tools and Bill of Materials (BOM). - Solution mindset to provide new concept design solutions. - BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge. - Procuring new parts. - Should be able to attend client meetings. - Able to travel on a necessary basis. - Excellent in communication, presentation, and writing skills. - Knowledge in the Semiconductor domain will be an added advantage. Qualifications Required: - 3-12 years of experience in Mechanical Design. - Skillset: NPD, Creo, GD&T, tolerance stackup, Sheetmetal. - Immediate to 30 days notice period or those who can join in December will be given priority, with a maximum of 90 Days NP. - Location: Chennai.
