Mechanical Piping Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer Mechanical, your main responsibilities will include reviewing codes, standards, and client specifications. You will be required to attend project kick-off meetings to thoroughly understand the project requirements. It will be your responsibility to select suitable components from approved vendors and prepare datasheets, P&IDs, GADs, and foundation drawings. Additionally, you will need to create a Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement purposes. You will also be expected to coordinate with the production team to resolve any design-related queries that may arise during the project. To be successful in this role, you must hold a qualification of BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. You should have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the design of process equipment, piping, or skid systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Outlook is essential. Strong communication skills are a must-have for effective coordination with various stakeholders. Experience with Creo, SolidWorks, or Plant 3D is preferred.
