We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance professional to ensure the proper functioning, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. The role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimise downtime and support continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain, install, and repair pumps, compressors, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, and other rotating/reciprocating equipment.
• Conduct inspections and condition monitoring of machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.
• Follow safety procedures, company standards, and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
• Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support shutdown, turnaround, and major maintenance activities as required.
• Support other maintenance staffs in their work and be a perfect maintenance team

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within [manufacturing/plant/industry].
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and rotating machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Good communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in industrial environments (heat, noise, confined spaces, heights).
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or during plant shutdowns.
• Physically fit to handle tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
