Job Description

Role Overview: You will have the overall responsibility for the execution of the complete Mechanical Building Services scope for Transmission projects. This includes a commendable understanding of HVDC and/or FACTS technologies and knowledge of Substation projects. Your role will involve designing and developing HVAC layouts, interdisciplinary coordination, and ensuring detailed designs are delivered to the highest international standards. You will also be responsible for preparing HVAC system concepts, technical data sheets, and performing various design calculations related to HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop HVAC layouts and coordinate interdisciplinary tasks - Prepare HVAC system concepts, technical data sheets, and specifications - Conduct design calculations for cooling and heating loads, pump sizing, duct sizing, etc. - Prepare layouts and section drawings for proposals and projects - Review and validate Bill of Materials for tenders and projects - Participate in vendor offer evaluations and technical risk assessments - Estimate engineering effort for project development and innovate to reduce effort with quality - Manage projects independently and address site issues - Plan and attend interdisciplinary meetings with customers - Demonstrate commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork - Possess good communication skills and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams - Hands-on experience in Autodesk tools such as Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Qualifications Required: - B.E. / B. Tech/ M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - 5-12 years of relevant work experience - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams (Note: Additional Company Details were omitted as they were not present in the provided job description),
