Mechanical Draftsman

Role & responsibilities

• The Pre-sales Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed concept layouts for intralogistics automation systems e.g. AS/RS, Conveyor Layouts, etc., They will work closely with solution design engineers/Sales Manager to draft innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Knowledge of 3D animation tools and techniques for layout presentations.
• Develop detailed AS/RS layouts and specifications for intralogistics automation systems, including conveyor systems, robotic systems, and material handling equipment.

KRA1-

Create detailed 2D/3D layouts for intralogistic automation systems, including AS/RS, Mini-Load AS/RS, Pallet Shuttles, conveyor systems, robotic systems, etc.

Integrate civil, sprinkler layout, equipment, line systems in system layout. Communicate outcome to solution design engineer or sales

KRA 2 - Collaboration:

Collaborate with solution design engineers to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions within timelines that meet project requirements.

KRA 3 - Compliance:

Ensure that all mechanical drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations.

Maintain revision history and documentation as per IMS manual.

KRA 4 Innovation:

Create std templates of equipment like crane, conveyors, racking, etc. to improve drafting speed.

Create and use of dynamic models for various equipments.

KRA 5 - Teamwork:

Work closely with other members of the solution design team to ensure that task are completed on time.

Preferred candidate profile

Min. 2-3 years of experience in Intra-logistic domain

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor software for layout design and equipment specification.
