Mechanical Draftsman ( For Sharjah)

Job Title: Mechanical DraftsmanLocation: UAEJob Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our engineering team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and 3D models for mechanical systems, machinery, and components as per project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical systems, equipment, and components using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Develop detailed shop drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain and update drawing records, technical documentation, and revision histories.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE building codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material take-offs, and project documentation.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and site execution stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman/Draughtsman, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit MEP, or other drafting/design software.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire-fighting systems (for MEP projects).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
