Mechanical Designer (Molding and Solidwork)

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Your key role will involve creating detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings for manufacturing and assembly purposes. Additionally, you will focus on developing and designing moldings with precision and functionality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specific requirements and specifications will be a crucial aspect of your job. Conducting design reviews, providing technical support throughout the product development cycle, analyzing design issues, and offering solutions to enhance product performance and reliability will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings for manufacturing and assembly purposes. - Develop and design moldings with a focus on precision and functionality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specific requirements and specifications. - Conduct design reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development cycle. - Analyze design issues and provide solutions to enhance product performance and reliability. - Maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and specifications. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in mechanical design, specifically using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. - Strong knowledge of molding design and manufacturing processes. - Excellent understanding of engineering principles and materials. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. - Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office Suite.
