Job Description

Position Mechanical Design Engineer Full-Time, 100% Remote,Remote Role, Base Location is Visakhapatnam. Additional location Hyderabad Fresh Candidates can also apply. Summary Performs project design and drafting tasks for basic complexity projects with minimal supervision, including but not limited to HVAC system design, plumbing system design, and fire protection system design. Requires knowledge of Revit to complete the above. Possesses good writing and communication skills and knowledge of standards. Role & responsibilities Performs engineering calculations. Develops system design layout and model systems in 3-D. Edit first-pass specifications. Reads codes and standards to ensure code-compliant design. Coordinates with vendors and agencies to complete the design. Reviews and responds to basic RFIs and submittals. Uses Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other software. Continues education through seminars, classes, and additional readings. Preferred candidate profile Possess experience working with US teams- disciplines, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ability to review and respond to shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals. Generate compliance reports for Title 24. Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam and Energy Modelling. Strong knowledge of local building codes and standards. Capable of independently designing and developing HVAC systems for building construction projects with less complexity, including plans, calculations, and schematics.
