Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities : As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various projects. You will work closely with architects, project managers and clients to ensure our designs meet all functional and regulatory requirements while maximizing energy efficiency Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, industrial and residential projects Perform load calculations, HVAC system modeling, and energy analysis Create detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) Conduct equipment selection, procurement and coordination for HVAC components Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and timelines Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to clients Stay current with industry trends, technologies and regulations related to HVAC design Qualifications and Experience Required : BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field 3+ years of experience in designing of HVAC systems Experience in design of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, retail projects. Ideally should have experience of sustainability-based projects Good understating & knowledge of international codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA Good IT skills comprising Microsoft Office, HVAC cooling load software (Trane Trace, Camel, IES VE etc), AutoCAD, Bluebeam Experience working on US/UK/Australia projects will be an added advantage Compensation: The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation and remuneration policies in line with qualifications and experience.
