Job Description

Mechanical engineer with experience in Product design,
Expertise in prototyping and documentation using software like Creo, Windchill.
Familiar with Creo Pro-Mechanism, Bill of Materials of engineering products.
Perform Assigned tasks on product development and validation coordinating with Design Engineers, Test Labs, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing and Suppliers as required
Use of Creo Pro-Mechanism tool to perform motion analysis on the switch mechanism design.
Design of sheet metal and Plastic components with reference to the legacy designs.
Execution of Product validation tests for all types of products according to test plans and standardized testing methodologies and requirements
Lead documentation of technical design details & test results; participate in program reviews and prepare invention disclosures where appropriate.
Support Root cause analysis of any failures during product building and testing.
Perform tolerance studies and design analysis as required.
Prepare the Prototype samples for product validation tests.
Ordering of samples coordinating with Suppliers and cross functional teams.
Communicate status and problems to project leaders and Design Engineers.
Document technical design details, test results and update internal process/procedure documents and instructions.
Verification of Design documentation and BOM.
Ability to work in teams and achieve targets in a global environment.
