Mechanical Design (Autocad & Autodesk Inventor)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing mechanical components and assemblies, focusing on sheet metal fabrication. Your expertise in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor will be vital in creating accurate technical drawings and 3D models to support product development from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures emphasizing sheet metal fabrication. - Create and update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable. - Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), technical documentation, and assembly instructions. - Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and testing. - Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. - Maintain design documentation in a PDM/PLM system.
