Asscoaite - Corporate Finance and Valuation Key Responsibilities Bus iness & Industry Assessment Conduct business analysis including company description, industry landscape review, and competitive positioning Perform comprehensive SWOT analysis and competitive intelligence to understand market dynamics and business viability Assess management quality, operational efficiency, and strategic positioning relative to peers Financial Analysis & Forecasting Execute historical financial performance reviews across revenue, margins, cash generation, and capital efficiency Develop financial forecasts and working capital analysis based on business drivers and market assumptions Build free cash flow (FCF) analysis including capex requirements, working capital needs, and cash flow sustainability Calculate and analyze key financial ratios and metrics (revenue growth, EBITDA margins, ROIC, leverage ratios, etc.) Support sensitivity testing to validate forecast robustness Valuation & Modeling Construct and review sophisticated financial models (DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction analyses) Develop trading comparables (trading comps) analysis for peer benchmarking and valuation multiples Execute transaction comparables (M&A comps) analysis to derive precedent transaction multiples and market insights Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to stress-test assumptions and valuations Maintain conceptual clarity on model drivers, assumptions, and key value creation levers Sell-Side Transaction Support Prepare and refine Information Memoranda (IMs) tailored to buyer profiles and investment thesis Develop teaser documents and marketing materials for sell-side processes and buyer targeting Develop pitch books and support management presentations with compelling financial storytelling and analytical insights Conduct preliminary buyer profiling and process structuring to optimize transaction outcomes Required Qualifications Experience 2-3+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following: Corporate finance / Investment banking (M&A or equity research focus) Top-tier management consulting (MBB or Big 4) Financial Analysis & Modeling Advanced financial modeling capability (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and relative valuation multiples Demonstrated ability to build complex models with scenario and sensitivity analyses Proficiency in financial ratio analysis and key performance indicators Experience translating assumptions into quantified models and identifying key drivers High proficiency in Excel, experience with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage Valuation & Comparables Analysis Hands-on experience with trading comparables analysis for peer benchmarking Demonstrated expertise in transaction comparables (M&A comps) analysis Ability to assess enterprise value, EBITDA/revenue multiples, and valuation spreads Comfort working with equity research platforms and financial databases (Capital IQ) Understanding of valuation adjustments for size, liquidity, and control premiums Sell-Side & Marketing Capabilities Experience preparing or contributing to Information Memoranda (IMs) and marketing materials Ability to construct compelling financial narratives for external audiences (buyers, investors, lenders) Proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualization (ThinkCell, or equivalent) Understanding of buyer personas and tailored messaging for institutional investors/strategic buyers Experience developing teaser documents and preliminary marketing materials Comfort working with multi-stakeholder teams (clients, senior management, legal, accounting, etc.) If you think you're the right fit, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description Associate - Diligence and Transaction Advisory Key Responsibilities Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) Execute market sizing and market share analysis with bottom-up and top-down validation High-level size and validate value creation levers Assess competitive landscape, positioning, and barriers to entry Validate business model assumptions, and revenue growth drivers Analyze customer concentration, contract terms, and customer satisfaction risks Synthesize findings into concise CDD outputs with clear identification and implications of operational and commercial risks, improvement opportunities and value creation levers Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) Describe asset and current market positioning, landscape, sources of competitive differentiation etc. Develop compelling evidence-based equity story that future investors can underwrite Synthesize findings into comprehensive VDD reports with clear identification and implications of risks, opportunities, and value drivers Collaborate with management to ensure accuracy and consistency across materials Portfolio value creation Conduct baseline assessments across SWF, PE and HoldCo portfolio companies to identify efficiency gaps, redundancies, and operational leverage opportunities Benchmark peers and industry best practice: cost structure, supply chain dynamics, capital efficiency Develop value creation plans with specific initiatives, and quantified financial targets (revenue uplift, cost reduction, EBITDA bridge) Build transformation roadmap prioritizing initiatives by impact, implementation, complexity and resource requirements Work alongside portfolio company management teams to implement operational improvements; provide coaching on change management and execution discipline Experience 4-6+ years of progressive experience in one or more of the following: Private equity (MBB transactions/VDD teams, portfolio operations, or investment teams) Top-tier management consulting Due Diligence Expertise Demonstrated experience conducting or supporting VDD (financial, operational, or strategic workstreams) Proven capability in CDD including market sizing, competitive analysis, and business validation Experience preparing comprehensive due diligence reports with findings, risks, and recommendations Ability to assess business quality, market dynamics, operational efficiency, and commercial viability Strong critical thinking and ability to identify risks, opportunities, and value drivers If you think you're the right fit, we would love to hear from you
