Job Title: MEAN Stack (Angular + Node.js) Location: Pune/Chennai Job Type: Perm Experience Required: 5 to 9 Years Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and hands-on Data Engineer with MEAN Stack specialization (Angular + Node.js) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular (v12+), backend development with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployment using Azure or similar platforms. This role demands deep technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude to work in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular 12+ and supporting technologies. Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. Work with PostgreSQL databases, writing complex queries and optimizing performance. Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms (preferably Azure). Integrate data visualization using charting libraries such as Angular Plotly, D3, or Highcharts. Perform unit testing using Mocha, Chai, Karma, or Jest. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and technical design discussions. Lead scrum teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Apply software engineering best practices including design patterns and SOLID principles. Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Angular 12+ , JavaScript , TypeScript , HTML5 , CSS , and Angular theming. Backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript (including middleware development). Proficient in Relational Databases specifically PostgreSQL . Cloud Deployment experience Azure preferred (AWS is a plus). Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Solid understanding of Unit Testing frameworks – Mocha, Chai, Karma, Jest . Familiarity with charting libraries like Plotly , D3 , or Highcharts . Excellent design and analytical skills . Strong communication skills and ability to lead scrum teams . Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles . Desired Skills: Experience with GIT , GitHub Actions , NPM , and Yarn . Exposure to YAML configurations . Prior experience in the Oil & Gas domain is a plus. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile-based projects.
