About the Team The CRM Engineering Team plays a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, streamlining customer interactions, and maximizing the efficiency of our global Sales organization. By leveraging Salesforce, we ensure our teams have the tools to manage relationships, track opportunities, and drive revenue growth. With expertise in Salesforce development, customization, and integration, we continuously enhance our CRM platform to meet evolving business needs. The team collaborates across departments to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality CRM capabilities aligned to MongoDB s objectives. What You ll Do As a CRM Engineering Intern, you will: Support the design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of Salesforce solutions under the mentorship of senior engineers. Assist in implementing enhancements that streamline sales processes and improve the user experience. Participate in debugging and resolving issues in Salesforce, learning best practices for large-scale CRM maintenance. Join Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to gain exposure to real-world software development lifecycles. Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Explore new Salesforce technologies, AppExchange solutions, and AI-driven tools, bringing fresh perspectives to the team. Contribute to documentation and code reviews, developing awareness of industry standards and quality practices. Own small, scoped tasks or projects that deliver direct impact to MongoDB s sales operations. Responsibilities Assist in Salesforce development projects including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative configurations. Help design and test system improvements to support Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams. Research and suggest innovative solutions in areas like automation, AI enablement, and user experience. Ensure adherence to development standards and participate in peer reviews. What we are looking for in you In the process of receiving a Bachelor s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical fields. Interest in Salesforce engineering, CRM platforms, or business systems integration Problem-solving mindset with a desire to understand how technology drives business processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic and collaborative environment Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Understanding of databases, APIs, or data integration concepts Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes.
