Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Incharge to oversee and manage the daily production operations in our garment factory. The ideal candidate will ensure timely production, maintain quality standards, optimize resources, and coordinate with multiple departments to meet delivery targets. Key Responsibilities : Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet production schedules. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Supervise line supervisors, operators, and floor staff to ensure efficiency and productivity. Maintain production records, daily output reports, and prepare summaries for management. Monitor product quality and coordinate with the quality control department to ensure standards are met. Identify bottlenecks or production issues and implement solutions promptly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor. Coordinate with other departments like Cutting, Finishing, Merchandising, and Maintenance. Train and guide production staff to improve performance and adherence to SOPs. Minimize wastage and ensure cost-effective production methods. Monitor absenteeism, discipline, and workforce morale. Ensure on-time delivery and achieve monthly/weekly/daily production targets. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a garment manufacturing setup, preferably in a woven/knitwear unit. Strong knowledge of garment production processes, machinery, and workflow. Ability to handle pressure and manage large teams. Proficient in MS Office and production tracking software. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills : Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S principles. Familiarity with ERP systems or digital production monitoring tools. Ability to read technical drawings/spec sheets. Basic knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX) is a plus.
