Job Description – Beverage Warehouse Manager Location: Imphal, Manipur Industry: Beverages Distribution Position: Warehouse Manager About the Role We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our beverage warehouse operations in Imphal, Manipur. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and expertise in managing inventory, logistics, compliance, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, adherence to excise regulations, and timely distribution of products. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of beverage stocks. Ensure accurate inventory management through entries, and stock reconciliation. Implement FIFO/LIFO practices to minimize wastage and ensure product quality. Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with accounts for variance reports. Prevent breakages, and shortages through strong monitoring and controls. Team & Process Management Supervise and guide warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers. Train, motivate, and discipline team members to achieve operational efficiency. Enforce safety, hygiene, and SOP compliance across warehouse operations. Dispatch & Logistics Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to ensure on-time dispatches . Plan vehicle loading/unloading schedules and optimize delivery routes. Track daily vehicle movements and confirm delivery completions. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies. Maintain proper documentation, registers, and reports as mandated. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports – inward/outward, breakages, shortages, and stock positions. Facility & Asset Management Maintain warehouse infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems. Oversee AMC schedules for weighing machines, forklifts, CCTV, fire extinguishers, etc. Ensure overall security of stocks, facility, and staff . Requirements Graduate / Postgraduate (preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations). 5–10 years of experience in warehouse management (beverage industry preferred). Strong knowledge of warehouse software (ERP/Tally/SAP). Familiarity with compliance and state regulations . Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Willingness to relocate/work in Imphal, Manipur. Salary & Benefits Competitive salary (as per industry standards).
