Position Title: Project Management – Cyber Security Officer Company: Matrix SEC Cyber Solution LLP Location: Kochi, Kerala (Onsite) Department: Cybersecurity & Risk Management Reports To: Director / Chief Technology Officer Role Overview Matrix SEC Cyber Solution LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management – Cyber Security Officer to lead, coordinate, and execute client-focused cybersecurity projects. The officer will be responsible for ensuring all cybersecurity initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with international security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and CERT-In. This role demands strong expertise in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and project management, while serving as the key liaison between clients, internal technical teams, and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Management Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in consultation with stakeholders. Develop and manage project charters, risk registers, and Gantt charts. Lead and deliver cybersecurity projects including: SOC setup & management Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) Regulatory and compliance audits Incident response & recovery 2. Cybersecurity Execution Oversee penetration testing, risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and threat modeling. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, and CERT-In requirements. Supervise the implementation of advanced cybersecurity controls including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection. 3. Client & Team Management Act as the primary point of contact for clients on project-related communications. Collaborate with internal teams including ethical hackers, analysts, and engineers. Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for client stakeholders and staff. 4. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including: Project progress reports Compliance checklists Security policies & governance documents Prepare executive dashboards and reports for management and client presentations. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Science (Master’s preferred). 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 2+ years in project management. Strong knowledge of global security frameworks and standards: ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, CERT-In. Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Burp Suite, Nessus, and Wireshark. Experience with project management platforms: Jira, MS Project, Asana. Relevant certifications preferred: PMP / PRINCE2 (Project Management) CISSP / CISM / CEH / ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (Cybersecurity) Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
