Online Mathematics Teacher (Classes 8th - 10th) - Profit Sharing Partnership

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction to students in classes 8th, 9th, and 10th. This role is a profit-sharing partnership where the teacher focuses solely on curriculum delivery and student engagement, while the partner manages all student leads, marketing, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in using various online teaching technologies, including live video conferencing and content creation, and possess a strong passion for making complex mathematical concepts accessible and interesting to teenagers.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging, and interactive math lessons for classes 8th, 9th, and 10th, covering the full curriculum (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, etc.).
• Platform Proficiency: Conduct live classes effectively using platforms like Zoom and contribute to content creation for platforms such as YouTube and potentially others (e.g., pre-recorded modules, solution videos).
• Student Engagement: Create a positive and supportive online learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Assessment & Feedback: Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments. Provide timely, constructive, and detailed feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
• Resource Utilization: Utilize and integrate digital teaching tools effectively, including a pen tablet and high-quality camera/microphone setup, to replicate a dynamic classroom experience.
• Curriculum Development: Continuously review and update teaching materials to ensure alignment with current educational standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (minimum 3 years) teaching mathematics to students in the 8th, 9th, and 10th grade levels, preferably in an online setting.
• Technical Skills:
• Expert proficiency in using live video conferencing tools like Zoom for teaching.
• Experience creating educational video content for platforms like YouTube.
• Demonstrated ability to use a pen tablet effectively for real-time mathematical explanations and annotations.
• Possession of a reliable, high-speed internet connection and professional-grade teaching equipment (camera, microphone, pen tab).
• Teaching Aptitude: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify complex math concepts and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

Compensation Model (Partnership Details)

This is a performance-based partnership designed to reward excellent teaching:

• Structure: This is a profit-sharing arrangement—not a fixed salary position.
• Basis: The Teacher's compensation will be a pre-agreed percentage of the net revenue generated from the courses taught.
• Focus: The Teacher will be responsible only for the teaching, content creation, and student interaction.
• Partner's Role: The other partner will handle all non-teaching aspects, including generating all student leads, marketing, platform management, and administrative tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer

Pay: ₹5,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
