Materials Sales/Sourcing Officer

Role Overview: Abnandan enviro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sourcing Agent to join their dynamic organization specializing in the sustainability industry. Key Responsibilities: - Source and identify potential suppliers, including aggregators, scrap vendors, and fulfilment centers, who can provide the specific scrap materials required by the business development team. - Assess and verify the quality of scrap materials to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. - Negotiate terms, rates, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while maintaining quality and meeting quantity requirements. - Finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring all terms are well-defined and adhered to. - Collaborate closely with the operations team to coordinate logistics, including arranging transportation, labor, and documentation for handling scrap materials. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a sourcing agent or in a similar role, preferably within the scrap or recycling industry. - Strong negotiation skills and a successful track record of securing favorable terms and pricing. - Excellent understanding of quality control processes and supply chain management. - Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers, strong organizational and multitasking skills, and attention to detail. - Proficiency in using sourcing tools and software, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
