Roles & Responsibilities As our Video Editor, you'll be the creative force behind Masonry's content strategy. Your primary mission is to create high-quality, engaging short-form videos that showcase our platform's capabilities and drive user engagement across social media. Content Creation Produce high-quality short-form videos daily (30-40 videos per month) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn Create compelling product demo videos that clearly showcase Masonry's features and benefits Develop showcase videos highlighting different AI models, use cases, and creative workflows Edit raw footage and screen recordings into polished, engaging narratives Creative Execution Design and implement motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling Add dynamic text overlays, transitions, and effects that align with platform-specific trends Create scroll-stopping hooks within the first 3 seconds of every video Maintain consistent brand aesthetics while experimenting with trending formats Brand Consistency Ensure all videos maintain Masonry's brand voice, tone, and visual identity Create templates and systems for efficient, repeatable content production Organize and maintain a content library for easy access and repurposing Skills Required Must-Have Proven experience editing short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics and animation Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut, VN or equivalent professional editing software Deep understanding of platform-specific video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices Ability to work independently and deliver 1 high-quality video daily Strong storytelling skills with attention to pacing, rhythm, and audience retention Experience with screen recording and product demo video creation Located in or willing to relocate to Bangalore, India Nice-to-Have Familiarity with AI tools like Kling,Sora, Eleven Labs Motion design and 3D animation capabilities Personal Attributes Self-motivated and capable of managing your own work Creative thinker who can translate product features into engaging stories Fast learner who stays ahead of social media trends Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality output Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving priorities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with the founding team What You'll Get Compensation INR 40,000 per month (full-time) Work Environment Hybrid setup based in Bangalore with flexible work arrangements Direct collaboration with the founding team Creative freedom to experiment and innovate Opportunity to shape Masonry's content strategy from the ground up Growth Opportunities Build a portfolio of high-performing content in the AI and tech space Gain experience working on a bootstrapped product in a high-growth market Potential for role expansion as the company scales Be part of building something meaningful from day one
