Roles & Responsibilities (Daily Work): Site Supervision & Execution Supervise daily HVAC installation, ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment erection work at site. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Monitor manpower and allocate tasks to technicians/helpers for smooth workflow. Coordination Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client representatives for daily progress. Attend site meetings and report daily updates to Project Manager. Quality & Safety Check quality of materials and workmanship during execution. Ensure all safety measures are followed by workers at site. Conduct inspections and rectify deviations immediately. Progress Monitoring Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) of site activities. Track work schedules to ensure timely completion of targets. Highlight any delays, material shortages, or issues to management. Material & Tools Handling Verify material delivery and proper storage at site. Ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and safety accessories. Testing & Commissioning Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. Record test results and prepare documentation for handover. Required Skills Good knowledge of HVAC drawings, ducting, and piping layouts. Ability to lead and manage site teams. Strong coordination and communication skills. Problem-solving attitude with focus on deadlines. Roles & Responsibilities (Daily Basis Work): Design & Calculations Perform heat load calculations for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Select suitable HVAC equipment (chillers, AHU, FCU, pumps, fans, etc.). Prepare duct sizing, pipe sizing, and static pressure drop calculations. Drawings & Documentation Prepare HVAC layout drawings (ducting, piping, equipment layout) using AutoCAD/Revit. Draft detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and other applicable standards. Coordination & Meetings Coordinate with architects, electrical & plumbing teams for service integration. Attend site coordination meetings with clients/contractors. Provide design clarifications and technical support to site teams. Review & Approvals Review vendor drawings, product datasheets, and shop drawings. Prepare technical submittals for client/consultant approval. Check and verify HVAC system designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Site Support Provide daily technical assistance to project/site engineers. Conduct design vs. execution review and resolve discrepancies. Suggest modifications for smooth execution if required. Reporting Prepare daily/weekly design progress reports. Track project timelines and deliverables. Report to Project Manager/Design Head on design status and issues. Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment selection & design software. Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit MEP. Understanding of ASHRAE, ISHRAE & NBC standards. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
