Software Engineer

Work location - Remote or Kochi office

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong front-end focus to join our development team
The ideal candi has hands-on experience building modern, high-performance web applications using Next js and/or Vue js, and is comfortable working with Node js for backend integration Experience or familiarity with Python-based backend services is a strong plus

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain modern, scalable front-end applications using Next
js, React, and/or Vue js

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences

Build reusable components, UI libraries, and frontend architecture that promote maintainability and performance

Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and microservices, pri ily built using Node
js

Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain high engineering standards

Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

Contribute to backend logic when needed, especially in Node
js environments; familiarity with Python for backend services is a plus

Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

2-5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications (adjust based on seniority)

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks

Proven experience with Next
js, React, and/or Vue js

Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and component-based UI development

Experience working with Node
js for server-side logic, API development, or build tooling

Familiarity with backend technologies such as Python, D go, or Flask is a plus

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and basic cloud concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in collaborative agile teams

Soft Skills
