Marketing Head

About the Role

• Lead, coach and mentor the marketing team, aligning individual goals with business objectives
• Build a strong, growth-focused marketing culture across all projects and business channels
• Define and manage marketing processes, guidelines and tools for each project
• Support sales and business development with strategies to secure top prospects, from prospecting to proposals to renewals
• Ensure timely and clear communication with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders
• Oversee internal and external communications strategy, including PR and media relations
• Oversee partnerships and community engagement initiatives that strengthen brand presence

Leading the Business

• Act as a member of the senior leadership team, driving results with a strategic mindset for both Digital and Offline marketing
• Own and execute marketing strategy for 5 to 6 projects across brand, performance, digital and product marketing
• Build brand identity, positioning and messaging for startup projects from scratch
• Lead a 3-year sales and marketing strategy in partnership with sales leadership
• Drive customer acquisition across paid search, paid social, SEO, email and content
• Optimize CAC, conversion rates, customer lifetime value (LTV) and marketing ROI
• Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and services
• Own marketing budgets and regularly review financial performance and reporting
• Manage risk through proactive negotiation, contracts and vendor oversight
• Ensure planning timelines are met, including budgets, reporting and standard operating procedures
• Build strong industry connections across marketing, healthcare, startup and technology ecosystems

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Head of Marketing (or equivalent senior marketing leadership role)

• Healthcare, health tech or other regulated industry experience is preferred

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven track record of branding and scaling startups, Health Care, Health Care tech, DTC, e-commerce or subscription businesses
• Strong performance marketing expertise with demonstrable results in acquisition and conversion
• Exceptional writing skills, creativity and energy
• Strong analytical skills to assess, forecast and identify market opportunities
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for excellence
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders while managing a diverse workload
• Open to receiving feedback and confident giving it to team members and colleagues
• Experience working with international clients is a strong plus
