Market Data Engineer - TREP / RTDS

Project roles and responsibilities

• Manage and support real-time data platforms such as

  Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (TREP) / Refinitiv Data Distribution Service (RTDS)

  .
• Administer

  DACS

   (Data Access Control System) and ensure compliance with data governance and entitlements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize systems running on

  Linux

   environments.
• Ensure optimal performance of

  TCP/IP networks

   and related networking components.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage market data services and deliver a stable infrastructure.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot

  multicast networks

   for market data feeds.
• Automate tasks and processes using

  Bash

   and

  Python

   scripting.
• Work within

  AWS

   environments to support and scale market data solutions.
• Implement best practices for

  network security

   and troubleshoot firewall and network-related issues.
• Utilize market data tools such as

  Exegy

   and monitor infrastructure with

  Geneos ITRS

  .
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders in different geographical regions and time zones.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience with

  TREP/RTDS

   (Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform/Refinitiv Data Distribution Service).
• Proficiency in

  DACS

   (Data Access Control System).
• In-depth knowledge of

  Linux

   operating systems.
• Expertise in

  TCP/IP networking

   protocols.
• Professional fluency in

  English

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with

  Exegy

   (formerly Wombat/Vela) solutions for market data.
• Experience with

  Market Data APIs

  .
• Knowledge of

  Geneos ITRS

   for infrastructure monitoring.
• Proficiency in

  Python

   and

  Bash

   scripting.
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS

   (Amazon Web Services).
• Strong skills in

  multicasting

   network configurations and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with

  firewalls

   and network security protocols.
