Location: Kochi, India Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Coordinator with a strong background in marine systems to join our team based in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design, preferably in the marine or offshore industry, with proficiency in CADMATICs and CAD software. The role involves coordinating with international OEMs to ensure timely availability of design inputs, providing these inputs to the shipyard for 3D modeling, extracting collision-free models, and preparing and issuing production drawings for fabrication and installation. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the design and development of HVAC systems for marine vessels. Liaise with foreign OEMs to gather technical data, clarify requirements, and coordinate integration with ship systems. Review 3D modelling by Shipyard (duct route, pipe route, equipment layouts etc.) are as per the schematics provided by OEMs using CADMATIC software. Ensure compliance with project requirements, marine classification societies, and client specifications. Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure HVAC design aligns with the overall outfitting scope. Prepare and maintain project documentation, design reports, and as-built records. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine HVAC system design and coordination. Proficient in CADMATICs HVAC and AutoCAD. Familiarity with international marine standards and classification requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, IRS). Understanding of HVAC system components, airflow calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in dealing with international OEMs and technical documentation. Preferred Attributes: Previous experience working on shipyard or marine EPC projects. Knowledge of 3D coordination and clash detection workflows.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cadmatic Draftsman to join our engineering team at Marinor India, Kochi . The role involves preparing and managing 3D models and production drawings for marine accommodation and outfitting systems using Cadmatic software. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in shipbuilding or offshore industries. Responsibilities Develop 3D models in Cadmatic for accommodation outfitting (HVAC, piping, electrical, furniture layout, etc.) Prepare detailed production drawings , GA drawings , and isometric drawings from the 3D model Coordinate with engineering and project teams to incorporate design inputs from OEMs, shipyards , and internal departments Conduct clash detection and resolve interface issues across disciplines Update and manage drawing revisions and ensure document control procedures are followed Assist in generating material take-offs and as-built documentation when required Qualifications Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical / Marine / Naval Architecture or related field Minimum 2 years of experience working with Cadmatic Hull or Plant modules (marine projects preferred) Strong understanding of marine accommodation layouts and outfitting principles Familiarity with shipyard modeling workflows and coordination practices Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Knowledge of other software like AutoCAD or Aveva Marine is a plus
