The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The role involves daily bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, forecasting, and assisting in audits. The Accountant will work closely with the finance team to support Marigold Aviation's operational and financial goals. We are seeking a skilled and detailed-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle Indian accounting and bookkeeping, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with both domestic and global standards. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for Indian operations Prepare financial statements in compliance with the Indian accounting standards Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliance in India Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable Work with internal teams on accounting queries and reports Coordinate with CA firms, auditors, and consultants as required Maintain accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar) Payroll processing and managing compliances/returns like PF, ESI, Professional tax etc. Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial activities Requirements Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in Indian accounting Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Zoho Books and Microsoft Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS, income tax) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication skills – verbal and written in English Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Skills Required Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Familiarity with transfer pricing, foreign subsidiary reporting, and currency conversion Knowledge of payroll and HR compliance (Provident fund and Professional tax) Familiarity with MCA filings and ROC compliances Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work with a global team Supportive team environment Professional development opportunities and training
