You will be joining Marathi Mood, a rapidly expanding Marathi-first digital media platform and social hub that celebrates the vibrant essence of Maharashtra, encompassing its culture, humor, voice, and identity. Since our inception in August 2024, our YouTube channel has amassed a substantial following of over 35,000 subscribers and 7.2 million views. Our content spans user-generated material, public opinion pieces, entertainment features, and social commentary, all delivered in an authentic Marathi style. From satirical content to in-depth cultural explorations, we strive to encapsulate the essence of Maharashtra through a diverse range of offerings. As a Digital Media Intern (Content + Anchoring), this full-time on-site position based in Mumbai will entail a multifaceted role. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around the creation and curation of digital content, hosting segments, conducting interviews, and fostering engagement within the online community. Your daily activities will include delving into pertinent topics, aiding in the formulation of digital strategies, overseeing project management tasks, and contributing to digital marketing campaigns. To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and anchoring abilities, coupled with a knack for analytical thinking and robust research skills. Prior experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, and project management will be advantageous. The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting is crucial. While not mandatory, familiarity with Marathi culture and language would be beneficial.
